Beach trip with my friends

We had a great time at the beach with all of our friends and nana! I went to my conference sessions until around noon every day while nana, Alecia, Laura, and Holly hung out by the beach and the pool. Sam got to relax in his float for the first time. Daddy said Sam had to have his own float! Daddy is always thinking about Sam! Sam loves his daddy!

We had so much fun! We ate some good seafood, laughed a lot, and relaxed in the sun!

Sam's first trip to visit 'Aunt Myrtle'

Sam took his first trip to the beach! He loved it! The water was still a little cool, but we did dip his toes in it! We had a great time! The weather was wonderful. We went to eat at one of our favorite spots - Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch one day! It was great! We went to the outlets and of course bought some cute stuff for..... I wonder who? SAM! He is getting spoiled already!

Sam's dedication & Mother's day

It was a great first Mother's day for me! Sam gave me the sweetest card that made me cry. Daddy gave me a great picture of Sam and a beautiful earing and necklace set (Sam's birthstone) also with such a sweet card that made me cry. Daddy really knows how to pull at my heart strings.

Sam was also dedicated at church on this day. Our families came down to see him. It was so special. Of course, he has a big "blow out" in his white linen christening outfit 10 minutes before we are to go out to the service for the dedication. I think Sam wanted to me never to forget my first Mother's day. It worked! I won't!!

Late posting - Easter pics

I had so much fun dressing Sam in his first Easter outfit! He was absoultely adorable! This was also his first time going to church! He loved our pastor so much that he put him right to sleep!! This was a good thing for me and John. Thanks so much to MaMa Kim for his cute outfit and shoes! This will become a tradition - taking Easter pictures by the blooming azaleas! I'm sure as Sam gets older that he will just love that! But, yes, he will have to do it anyway!

Fun times with our friends and family

We have enjoyed spending time with our friends Joy, Greg, Cole, and Hannah Rae. Sam says he likes older women! So Hannah Rae - watch out! Cole played with Lulu and Dixie! He wanted them to chase him and all they wanted was for Cole to throw the ball to them! But I think they worked it out and had a good time! We watched John in a heated wiffle ball match! Joy and I chit chatted and loved on our babies! We had a great time and we can't wait to see our friends again soon!

Last weekend, we went to Gaffney to visit our family. Mallory loved her some Sam! She held him like a little mommy and gave him many sweet kisses! Pop held Sam for the first time! He sure is a proud pop! We love him! We had a great time just hanging out and visiting! Nana and I watched Sam smile, laugh, and make many faces for us Saturday morning. We stayed in our pj's until about 11:00am, just talking and loving on Sam. Melody, Brandon, Mallory, and Dalton came over and we played the rest of the day. Sam can't wait to play with his cousins again!

Welcome to The Turner Flock's blog spot. This is our Sam. He was born on February 24, 2008 at 8:28 p.m. He is absolutely a true blessing to us! He is our little angel! He is the newest addition to the "Gamecock flock." He's learning early the right colors to wear!! Please visit our blog anytime.
